Flyers Flying
I put some flyers about this site in to Cee Gees, the local store and they've gone already. Only ten of them - a bit of market testing you see, but they went within less than 24 hours. And the store was closed for 10 of those hours. More to come. I'm also wondering about putting a downloadable poster on the site (if I can work out how to do that). It would be brilliant to have loads of posters in windows objecting to the possible development by the 31st. So as the council people arrive for their - ahem, 'consultation' they'll see objections all the way.

Well done you. Have picked up one of your leaflets from Cee Gees. I have already emailed my views to Heather Caird the local counillor. I'm afraid I can't attend the meetings on Wed but I hope a friend is going to get any paperwork for me. I will email this website to some more local friends. We're with you all the way.
Thank you for setting up this blog. Its important that the whole community gets involved in saving what is the "heart" of Camelsdale and one of the main reasons we moved here five years ago. The gardens in New Road are not the biggest and my children have had birthday parties, learnt to ride bikes, played football and flown their kites on the park and I know many other families that use it in the same way.
As you rightly say Camelsdale has more than done its bit for the council, as far as housing is concerned, we have the Crest Nicholson estate, not to mention Mr Wilsons ongoing projects in School road.
We will be attending the meeting on Wednesday and will be writing to our MP......the poster is a great idea.
